Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I found out that the Figuarts Daft Punk figures are now available for pre order on Amazon. They’re due out in late December, and if you get both then you’re eligible for free shipping. Here’s a link to each one for those who want to pre order:
Hey everyone! I had so much fun customizing that last Man of Steel Superman figure, I thought I’d try out something different. So I took a Movie Masters Man of Steel Superman and painted him in Justice Lords colors. I even repainted his head to look more realistic and angry, and gave him an alternate “heat vision blast” head. And I made two different sets of heat vision, one long and more wild looking, the other shorter with smoke coming off of the ends, to recreate the scene from the episode of Justice League where Justice Lords Superman lobotomizes Doomsday! Hot Toys just revealed the prototype for their upcoming G.I. Joe Retaliation Roadblock action figure. That’s right, now you can be the proud owner of a creepily realistic 1/6 action figure of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. This reveal is great news while fans still await the release of their G.I. Joe Retaliation Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow figures, which you can pre order through Amazon, or BigBadToyStore.

Another figure revealed today is the upcoming Injustice Green Lantern figure that’s going to be a part of the DC Comics Unlimited toy line from Mattel. It looks like it fits in with the other Injustice figures currently out now, but instead of being based on the regular version of Green Lantern from the game, it looks like it’s based on his “Regime” alternate costume in the game.

An image has been circulating the web today of the upcoming Beware the Batman 6″ figure set to be released in the Batman Unlimited toy line from Mattel. It’s hyper stylized to match the show, and more or less has the same kind of articulation we’ve come to expect from DCUC figures.

Hot Toys revealed yesterday via Facebook a couple of sneak peeks of their upcoming Man of Steel 1/6 scale collectible figures, based on the upcoming movie. The two figures we were given a peek of is Superman and Jor-El. The figures in this line will no doubt be fast sellers. No word on pricing yet, but stay tuned here for any more information.

Ever since the Arkham City toy line was announced, fans have clamored for a figure of Hugo Strange. He’s the penultimate villain of the game (mostly), so I would think he deserves a figure. Well it seems DC Collectibles agrees, and they’re releasing him as a 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive. This may cause some fans to groan, since it’s not always the easiest thing to get a hold of SDCC exclusives if you don’t go to the show, but I’m sure the figure will find its way to fans that want it. This is definitely better than them not releasing the figure at all, and I can understand the decision to make Hugo Strange a 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive.
