Hot Toys has revealed a slew of official images for their upcoming 1/6 scale 1966 Batman and Robin action figures. It seems everybody has the 1966 Batman fever lately. Mattel currently has a 6″ toy line out, NECA is releasing a 1/4 scale Adam West Batman later this year, and now Hot Toys! I think it’s amazing that this era of Batman has persisted so well over the decades, and always seems to have great selling merchandise.

The Mattel 1966 Batman Classic TV Series action figures are being found right now at retail! Reports are coming in of them being spotted at Walmart, so if you’re wanting to collect them, that might be your best bet to start your hunt.
You can also buy the Batman Classic TV Series figures right now on Amazon, if you don’t feel like hunting around.

Over at Action Figure Insider, they got the scoop on the reveal of Mattel’s Cesar Romero Joker from their upcoming 1966 Batman Movie Masters toy line. I have to say, it looks very awesome and makes my own custom Cesar Romero Joker look obsolete. And unless it’s just hidden in the photo, he doesn’t seem to have full leg articulation, but it is supposed to be a prototype, so I’m sure that will change.

Earlier today I showed off the upcoming Mattel 1966 Batman Movie Masters Penguin and Riddler 6″ figures. Now, thanks to USAToday and Toy News International, we have a look at the 6″ Adam West Batman figure and the 6″ 1966 Batmobile vehicle! The 6″ figures will be sold for $15.99 apiece, and the Batmobile will be $49.99.

Pictures were posted on Entertainment Earth’s Facebook page of the Riddler and Penguin figures from Mattel’s upcoming 1966 Batman Movie Masters toy line, based on the TV show and movie starring Adam West. The Riddler (played by Frank Gorshin) will be of him in his jumpsuit, and the Penguin will be based on his portrayal by Burgess Meredith. The figures look incredible, with highly detailed sculpts and articulation. These are the only two revealed so far, but I have a feeling we’ll see more this weekend at Toy Fair.
