News – Mattel Reveals Information About MOTUC 2014 Club Eternia The Unnamed One Figure

During the 2013 San Diego Comic Con, Mattel announced the 2014 Club Eternia subscription exclusive figure for Masters of the Universe Classics would be a character called The Unnamed One. The interesting (or frustrating, depending on who you talk to) thing about this figure is that nobody gets to know what it looks like until it arrives at peoples’ homes during the first quarter of next year. However, to whet peoples’ appetites for the character, Mattel has revealed some background information on the character known only as The Unnamed One.

GRUNDY asks: Does Mattel have any plans in the works for Batman’s 75th Anniversary in 2014 ? I’m not asking for specifics, since every thing Mattel does for DC is usually talked about years in advance, just wondering if anything is planned to commemorate one of your biggest sellers for the DC lines.

Thomas asks: Toyguru spoke of a EU distribution center after SDCC this year. What is the chances it will be up and running by the end of next year in time for Castle Grayskull, as this will make a massive difference to EU customers considering the pre-order.

At this time, no plans, We simply do not have enough customers in any one area in the EU to justify this logistically.

 

 

Mike asks: Will DHL be offered as a shipping method for Castle Grayskull? Even if it is added later, could we pick it via the new ‘sub page’?

News – Mattel SDCC 2012 Dark Knight Rises Exclusive Figure Revealed

San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Comic Book ConventionToday, Mattycollector announced some information regarding their San Diego Comic-Con 2012 pre-voucher sale, and in that release they revealed what the Dark Knight Rises Movie Masters Exclusive figure will be. Up until now, we haven’t known anything about what it could be, other than there would be one.

Speculation rose that perhaps it would be the Liam Neeson Ra’s Al Ghul figure that fans have been wanting since 2008 and the inception of the Dark Knight Movie Masters figures.

There are no photos yet of what the SDCC exclusive will look like, but we do know the package will feature lights and sounds, and now we know the character it’s going to be.

News – Dark Knight Rises Movie Masters Alfred and Officer Blake Figures Revealed

Mattel Dark Knight Rises Movie Masters Batman PackagingEarlier today, Mattel revealed on Mattycollector two new Batman The Dark Knight Rises Movie Masters figures. The two new figures revealed were that of Officer John Blake, played by Joseph Gordon Levitt, and Alfred, played by Michael Caine. They also showed off the new packaging for the TDKR Movie Masters toy line. Mattel originally stated that the TDKR Movie Masters line would consist of 6 figures. With the previous reveals of Batman, Bane, and Catwoman, that just leaves one figure left to be revealed.
